L\u2018architettura pugliese non smette mai di affascinare e sorprendere; ogni angolo della regione rivela straordinarie strutture architettoniche che meriterebbero di essere apprezzate e valorizzate. Tra queste, a Trani, \u00e8 annoverata la Chiesa di San Giovanni con l\u2019antico monastero annesso; uno degli scrigni di tesori dell\u2019arte che, molto spesso, di fronte alla maestosit\u00e0 della Cattedrale a ridosso del mare, principale attrattore, passa inosservato.
\nLa chiesa fu ampliata nel XVI sec. e interamente ristrutturata tra il 1780-1791: il tour guidato condurr\u00e0 i partecipanti alla scoperta di come la storia di questa chiesa a navata unica si intreccia a quella dell\u2019ospedale voluto ad opera della Nobile Antonella Palagano, vedova Lionelli e con l\u2019antico Monastero delle Suore Clarisse di San Giovanni.<\/p>\n

L\u2019inizio dell\u2019evento \u00e8 previsto per le \ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1e \ud835\udfd0\ud835\udfce:\ud835\udfce\ud835\udfce, con ritrovo in Piazza Duomo 8\/9, presso il Polo Museale di Trani 15 minuti prima dell’orario indicato. La durata sar\u00e0 di circa 2 ore.<\/p>\n

Al termine del percorso, alle ore 22:00, i visitatori verranno accompagnati presso il partner dell\u2019iniziativa il ristorante \u201cPelle d\u2019oca\u201d \u2013 Via Statuti Marittimi 30, Trani (BT) – per una degustazione di prodotti tipici locali a km 0.<\/p>\n
